PowerLong USA is pleased to announce that we are the proud sponsors of Team Speedy Motorsports!
This established and successful San Francisco Bay Area team has participated in many local races (Buttonwillow, Thunderhill and Infineon Raceways), as well as races in Oregon and Canada. Drivers Gordon Pun (Team Manager/Coordinator), William Dockery Jr., and Tom Milburn are enthusiastic, highly skilled, dedicated veterans of the race circuit. (Race Class: NASA Honda Challenge H1-H2, Enduro Series E1 and E2, United States Touring Car Championship – USTCC)
Their current vehicle is a 1997 Honda Civic hatchback with JDM spec B16B CTR motor and transmission. Suspension is by Ground Control. Wheels by Konig. Tires by Toyo RA1 DOT race tires.
The second vehicle is a 1994 Acura Integra GSR 2-door coupe with a B18C1 170 Horsepower motor with “Civic Type R Cams”. “ITR” Integra Type R 5-speed Transmission with limited slip differential and 4.47 final drive. Brembo Brake Rotors with “Hawk” Race pads. Suspension is “Gab” Super Stroker shocks with Eibach coilover race springs. Wheels by Konig. Tires by Toyo RA1 DOT race tires. Safety equipment includes: Sparco 6 Point Harness, Momo Steering Wheel, Tom Milburn fire system, Kirkey Race seat and Autopower roll cage with Tom Milburn bars for added safety.
The team participated in the Honda Challenge at Infineon Raceway on the weekend of October 23-24. It was another successful race – William (Bill) Dockery and Tom Milburn placed 2nd/3rd place and 3rd/4th place on Saturday and Sunday races. Congratulations to Team Speedy Motorsports!
