The innovative PowerLong filters are the first and only Sus-Mesh oil filters in the world with approved patents in many countries. PowerLong oil filters are manufactured according to the requirements set forth under QS 9000 and ISO 9001. PowerLong filters are the next generation of oil filters because the inside element of the filter, the filtration system, is not made of paper. Instead, it’s made from stainless steel mesh. There are many benefits of steel over paper. The openings in the Sus-Mesh are consistent and thereby producing an unwavering filtration pore. Because of the uniform size of the pores in a PowerLong filter, you will have consistent pressure of oil and without worries about a collapsed or ruptured filter element or inconsistencies of pore size. The strength of paper diminishes in time, and when paper comes in contact with any liquid and under pressure, it loses strength and can rupture. This is not the case with stainless steel. PowerLong filters have superior filtration efficiency because most of the oil goes into the filtration area rather than going through the by-pass valve. The first noticeable benefit upon installing a PowerLong filter is improved acceleration along with a smoother running engine. The engine does not have to work as hard to pump the oil through since there is less resistance in the steel mesh (low differential pressure between the oil that enters and exits the filter). Also, since there is a higher oil flow, there is less friction on the internal engine parts, less heat is generated and less oil is consumed.
